Moab Jeep Safari - April 12- April 20, 2014

From April 12–April 20, 2014, people who love off-roading come from all over to participate in the Moab Jeep Safari hosted by Red Rock 4-Wheelers Inc! The information below is from the official Red Rock 4-Wheelers Inc. website (You can read more HERE).

The Jeep safari is a 9 day event that hundreds of participants come to, to join other avid Jeep off-road fans to trek through the slick rock, and sand trails! Image credit: http://www.moab-utah.com/jeep/index.html

The Jeep Safari event was started in 1967. At that time, there was no entry free and a one-day, Saturday, trail. The Jeep Safari has always been during Easter weekend and has now extended to nine days. They still hold big Saturday events which include a safari raffle, BBQ dinner, and a vendor expo. The Jeep Safari consists of trail rides and day long trips. If you don't have a jeep, no problem! The Jeep Safari will allow any 4X4 vehicle on the trail. This year, there are eight new trials added to the schedule including:

-The Pickle
-Cameo Cliffs
-Day Canyon Point
-Deadman Point
-Rusty Nail
-Where Eagles Dare
-Jax Trax
-Hell's Revenge "The Escalator"
